On Saturday 24th June INF held our inaugural gala fundraising dinner. It was an exciting and fun night of fundraising where guests experienced Nepali cuisine and culture. Dinner consisted of a sumptuous Nepali buffet dinner book-ended with momo dumplings as entree and traditional Nepali treat for dessert waited by Nepali staff in full traditional dress.

The program consisted of live music as well as headline act Tabitha Hyun performing a dynamic range of soulful jazz favourites. The Sydney Nepalese Fellowship also performed a colourful Nepali dance in full traditional costume.

Guests learned about INF’s Green Pastures Hospital and the important work that it does to bring relief and hope to Nepalis affected by poverty, disability and natural disasters. We also heard from INF’s Youth Ambassadors, Angela Kim and Bree Turkington, who raised money to help the disadvantaged in Nepal during a trip to Nepal in February. For more information about how to join INF in alleviating poverty and giving life-changing treatment to the poorest in Nepal contact INF on the details below.
