One of INF’s newest initiatives, the GRACE project was established to meet the needs of people whose lives, homes and community were devastated by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck on 25th April 2015.

The destruction caused by the earthquake was extensive, with 70% of the houses and 90% of the schools and health service centres being destroyed. Going beyond initial relief, INF is committed to partnering with Gorkha’s effected community for the long term and through the GRACE project will provide professional rehabilitation support and partner with the community to develop greater disaster resilience.
GRACE will primarily be involved in Community Based Rehabilitation however will provide other assistance and partnership from across our broad experience of other health and community services as well.
