FOR OUR WORK IN NEPAL
Please pray for safety in travel for Sean, Anita and Bryan and a smooth transition as the family moves from India to Nepal.
Please pray that Sean and his Nepali colleagues are quickly able to establish strong relationships of trust. Please ask God to give clarity and wisdom to Sean, to Krishna [INF Nepal Executive Director] and INF Nepal’s leadership team as they identify priorities and work on building the capacity of INF Nepal’s community programs.
Please also pray that INF Nepal is able to quickly recruit a suitable counterpart to work with Sean.
Please pray for the teams who support the Rolpa EDUCATE project and the Jumla WEAL project as the projects plan for the final year of activity in 2022–23. Thank God for the work and progress to date and ask that the work may have long-lasting impact in the communities.
Thank God for candidates who applied for the role of Project Manager for INF Nepal’s Leprosy and Neglected Tropical Diseases Strategy. Please ask for wisdom as INF Nepal and INF Australia work together on the next steps for developing and implementing this strategy.
Please pray for our partner organisation, Milap, who are beginning work in a new working area. Ask God to support them as they survey and get to the know the communities in these new areas and for protection and safety for Milap field staff, Prema Roka and Srijana Gaire.
Thank God that Milap has been able to recruit an Executive Director, Rajendra Sunar and Logistics and Accounts Assistant, Suman Pariyar. Please ask God to strengthen them in their role. Ask God to continue to bless and strengthen Milap to be a blessing in their communities.
Partner organisation, Shanti Nepal are currently working on their strategic focus for the next five years. Please pray that they have wisdom to discern where and how they can make their best contribution over that time. Please also pray for their new Board and for the new Community Transformation Project team, based in Rukum.
FOR OUR WORKERS
Please pray for Ming Poon, who is recovering from COVID-19. Ask God to speed and sustain her recovery and support her family as they continue to grieve and proceed with funeral and other arrangements after the passing of Ming’s father. Pray also for God to provide secure housing for Ming’s youngest sister who is no longer able to access the social housing made available for their father. Pray for guidance and support to Ming and to INF Nepal as her planned return to Nepal will be delayed.
Thank God that Caryn and Peter Kneale will be able to visit Nepal for one month of orientation in April. Ask God to grant them time of deep listening and learning and also pray that appropriate visas swiftly be granted to work with INF Nepal.

Thank God that Cath Taylor will start work as INF Australia’s Communications Manager. Please pray for a smooth transition, and for energy and insight, as Cath helps lead our communications efforts.
Give thanks that INF Australia CEO, Ben Thurley, is able to travel again to Nepal after the disruptions and restrictions of the last two years. Please pray that he will be supported and safe as he travels to Nepal during April and ask God to help strengthen and renew relationships with partners in Nepal and to provide opportunities to support and learn from the work of our partners.
