Strengthening Partnerships for Greater Impact in Nepal
In May 2025, INF Australia’s implementing partners INF Nepal and Shanti Nepal had the privilege of hosting a monitoring and engagement visit through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), across West Rukum and Pokhara.
The delegation included Anna Mackintosh (Acting Assistant Director) and Tobias Smith (Senior Program Officer) from DFAT’s Program and Partnership Section, accompanied by INF Australia CEO Richard Reeve and local program staff.
Over four days, the team visited the Community Transformation Project led by Shanti Nepal in Aathbiskot Municipality, hearing directly from local leaders and project participants about the tangible change driven by ANCP-funded development. The visit also included Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara—INF Nepal’s flagship health facility—highlighting impactful work in disability inclusion and rehabilitation.
This visit was a valuable opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and reflect on how Australia’s aid investments, through ANCP, are advancing locally led, community-driven development.
