A gift in your will — sometimes called a bequest — is one of the most significant gifts an individual can make for a cause they care about. It costs nothing during your lifetime. It can be changed at any time. And it can make a difference in Nepal that continues for decades after you are gone.
INF Australia has been the beneficiary of generous bequests from supporters who had, in some cases, been giving to the work in Nepal for decadess. Those gifts go on to funding some of the most important work INF has ever done — the kind of investment that sustains local organisations long after individual program funding has ended.
Types of bequest
A bequest to INF Australia can take several forms:
- A specific sum — a fixed dollar amount you choose
- A percentage of your estate — a share of what remains after other bequests are fulfilled
- A residual bequest — whatever remains after all other bequests and expenses are met
- A specific asset — property, shares, or other assets
